Paris - Ile de France

The French Art de Vivre at its Finest

Paris is one of the world’s leading MICE destinations, consistently ranked among the global Top 3 for more than a decade and positioned as the number 2 global destination according to ICCA rankings. At the heart of Europe, Paris combines exceptional international accessibility, world class event infrastructure, outstanding accommodation capacity and an unparalleled cultural heritage. With more than 300 direct flight destinations worldwide, two major international airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly, as well as extensive high speed rail connections, the French capital offers seamless access for delegates travelling from Europe and around the world.

Paris offers a remarkable range of venues capable of hosting events of every scale, from executive meetings and incentives to international congresses, conventions and major exhibitions.

The Paris region is home to 24 convention and exhibition centres, representing more than 750,000 m² of event space. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles alone offers up to 200,000 m² on a single site, while Paris Nord Villepinte provides 242,000 m². Iconic venues such as the Palais des Congrès de Paris, with amphitheatres accommodating up to 3,700 delegates, and exceptional heritage venues such as the Grand Palais add a distinctive dimension to every event. In 2024, Paris hosted nearly 600 in person congresses, welcoming 689,492 delegates, including 98,927 international delegates, and generating an estimated €920 million in economic impact for the Greater Paris region.

Beyond its world class infrastructure, the city offers an extraordinary cultural and historical setting. From the Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles to the Opéra Garnier, private cultural experiences and exclusive cruises along the Seine, Paris provides countless opportunities to transform a business event into an inspiring and memorable journey. As the capital of French gastronomy, Paris also invites guests to discover its culinary heritage through Michelin starred restaurants, wine and cheese tastings, private dinners, cooking workshops and authentic local experiences.

Paris is actively embracing the ecological transition of the events industry. Organisers can integrate sustainability into their programmes through low carbon mobility, certified venues, responsible catering, short supply chains and service providers committed to eco design. This enables international organisations to incorporate meaningful ESG criteria into their events while creating a positive and lasting impact on the destination.

Choosing Paris means combining exceptional global accessibility, world class event infrastructure, extensive accommodation capacity, outstanding cultural and gastronomic experiences and a strong commitment to sustainable events.

From international congresses to bespoke incentives and corporate events, Paris offers the perfect balance between performance, elegance, creativity and authentic French experiences.

This is the true essence of the French art de vivre.
